About Us

Owner and Operator, Cathy Corbett-Schock has been in business part-time since 2001 and started operating fulltime on January 1, 2009. Cathy is a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada-Alberta where photographers are bound by a Code of Ethics. Benefits of being a PPOC member is the ongoing educational seminars, workshops and conferences and most importantly mentoring services to help photographers grow and succeed.

Cathy is passionate about photography and her training is combined with photojournalism where she was photo editor of the Southern Alberta Institute's weekly newspaper as well as attending ongoing educational conferences and workshops.

Cathy competed in the international photography contest in Calgary Exhibition and Stampede where over 1,300 images are submitted worldwide and only 300 accepted. Cathy was successful in having her three images submitted accepted and displayed for public viewing by over a million people.

Cathy moved forward to the digital world in 2008 and thoroughly enjoys the challenge and numerous opportunities available to enhance images. It's been an exciting time to grow and provide a more diverse service to clients.

Photo Dreams utilizes the natural landscape and parks offered in Brooks and area including Dinosaur Park in creating natural images for clients.
